Building Better Money Habits Since 2018

We started Jexlor because too many Canadians felt locked out of financial growth. Not because they lacked resources, but because nobody taught them how to think about money differently.

Seven years later, we're still here in Quesnel, working with people across British Columbia and beyond who want to change their relationship with investing.

Why We Do This Work

Back in 2018, I was sitting across from someone who'd just told me they felt stupid about money. They weren't stupid. They'd simply never been shown how investment thinking actually works.

That conversation stuck with me. Most financial education focuses on what to buy or which accounts to open. But the real barrier? It's mental. People approach investing with fear, confusion, or unrealistic expectations because nobody taught them the psychological foundations.

So we built Jexlor differently. We focus on mindset first, mechanics second. Our programs help people develop realistic perspectives on risk, patience, and long-term thinking before they put a dollar anywhere.

It's slower than promising quick returns. But our participants actually stick with it because they understand what they're doing and why.

The People Behind the Programs

We're a small team, which means you'll actually get to know us. No call centers, no rotating advisors. Just people who genuinely care about financial education.

Deveraux Kimbell

Lead Financial Educator

I spent twelve years in traditional financial advising before realizing most clients needed mindset coaching more than product recommendations. Now I design our core curriculum around behavioral finance principles and real-world decision-making scenarios.

Saoirse Tamblyn, Investment Psychology Specialist

Saoirse Tamblyn

Investment Psychology Specialist

My background is in behavioral economics, which is a fancy way of saying I study why people make irrational money choices. I work with participants who struggle with emotional investing, fear-based decisions, or unrealistic expectations about market returns.

Honest Timelines

We talk about years, not weeks. Investment mindset development takes time, and we're upfront about that from day one.

Real Examples

Our case studies come from actual participant experiences, not theoretical scenarios. You'll learn from real decisions people made and their outcomes.

No Sales Pressure

We don't sell investment products. We teach investment thinking. That's why our content stays objective and focused on education.
